Tour Summary

Now is your chance to explore the fascinating underwater world that is found just a few miles off the coast of the bustling city of Nassau in the Bahamas. Before you know it, you will be swimming through some of the most awe inspiring underwater environments in the world. Our Two Tank Morning Dive takes you out to underwater sea walls, colorful coral reef gardens, mysterious blue holes, and shipwrecks that are filled with a thriving marine life population. Each and every morning, these dives bring certified divers from around the world into the deep waters surrounding New Providence Island.

The Two Tank Morning Dives go to two underwater locations in the Caribbean. The sites are chosen each morning to make sure our divers go to the best possible location on that given morning with regards to weather, wind, and ocean conditions. Some of our typical dive sites include the Lost Blue Hole with some of the most abundant and diverse aquatic populations in the Bahamas. The Lost Blue Hole is a gorge on the ocean floor that measures 100 feet across and 200 feet deep. On our dives, we go to a maximum depth of 80 feet. You can see reef sharks, white tip sharks, and nurse sharks at the Lost Blue Hole.

Another great dive site we go to is the Barracuda Reef which is home to three of the most well protected reefs in the Bahamas. Here, you can expect to see a dazzling array of soft and hard coral heads, colorful sponges, and all kinds of other marine life including sea turtles, angelfish, snapper, stingrays, amber jack, and yellow tail. Another fascinating dive site is the Travelers’ Rest Wall. What many say looks like an underwater Grand Canyon, the Travelers Rest Wall is filled with coral formations, sharks, stingrays, and turtles. You are welcome to go as deep as 80 feet down the wall or stay somewhere shallower. Or you can head out to some of the most intriguing wreck locations in the Bahamas. These include the three massive freight boats that are found in 85 feet of water. Here you will find a population of silversides, African Pompanos, and Schoolmasters.

What are the requirements to participate in this dive?
This dive requires an open water certification or higher.

Can you pick us up from our cruise ship or hotel?
Complimentary pick up is provided from all hotels.

What are water conditions like?
All dives occur on the south side of the island where waters conditions are great all year round. Visibility remains clear and consistent all year round. Water tempatures change seasonally but average between 72 - 78f.

Can I use/bring my own scuba diving equipment?
Yes. Many people feel more comfortable using equipment they are familiar with and are best suited towards their body type. While we do everything to ensure our divers are using the safest, most reliable gear we do allow our divers to use their own dive gear.

Can my non-diving partner come on the dive?
Yes. While your partner will not be able to participate in the dive itself they can come along as a rider and enjoy the trip with you.

Is There a restroom on the boat?
Yes. There is a restroom or "Marine Head" for use on the boat.

What about sharks and other sea creatures?
With all the media hype it's understandable why people often ask this question but the truth is that unprovoked shark attacks are very, very rare and attacks on scuba divers are even more rare. Our staff, divers and dive masters are all trained in making sure your dive is safe and enjoyable.

Do you have nitrox tanks available for use?
No for this particular dive we do not have nitrox tanks available.

Thanks to the professional guides! I was a bit worried about kayaking because I had never done it before, but the instructions were great and I had such a good time!
