PADI eLearning Open Water Certification
If you have ever dreamed about swimming through the wondrous world of the ocean deep, now is your chance to do so! Becoming SCUBA certified allows you to swim in waters of up to 60 feet deep throughout the entire world. Before you know it, you will be swimming in dozens of unique underwater settings that you have never even imagined.
There is no better place to get your SCUBA certification than right here on the beautiful tropical islands of the Bahamas. Underneath the ocean surface you will find one of the worlds most brilliant and extensive coral reef systems. These ecosystems are teeming with wildlife. On your Open Water Certification course, you will go on four unique dives into the coral reef. On these dives you will be accompanied by one of our experienced instructors.
Before your actual dives, part of your Bahamas Open Water Certification program will include book readings, lectures, instruction, and practice in a pool setting. This will get you familiarized with the ins and outs of scuba diving. The course is designed to meet the needs of all our customers and you will find that it is an easy and enjoyable few days learning how to scuba dive.
- Part 1:The program begins with following the link where you register with PADI for the online course. There is a fee from PADI for the course paid directly to them of $120 (US).
- Part 2: When you arrive at Stuart Cove's you will meet one of our friendly instructors to review your course paperwork and take a short quiz. Immediately following you will begin the confined water and progress to the open ocean dives.
